Motivate to trigger action

This is achieved through learner and teacher support. iKDT provides learning and teaching support through:

  • Applications and transition to Universities, Technikons and Colleges
  • Alumni Network

Support holistically

The focus is on school leadership, community centeredness, institutional sustainability and psycho-social support. The long-term objective is to assist schools in developing their own institutional capacity and the ability to provide classroom based learning and psycho-social support to their learners working with relevant agencies

Partner for cultural change and impact

IKDT has a volunteer plough-back model that will draw attention to untapped potential, resident capacity and possible partnership between local and external stakeholders for the benefit of rural learners. This also includes establishing on Alumni Network Programme and mobilizing former students and graduates in order to deepen project impact of the efforts of iKDT.
